4Front Bass Module VSTi

A small and versatile bass-line module.

The bass module is a morph between sample playback and a synthesizer. Original string excitation is sampled, and then sound is modeled.

Playing chords will add extra fat rumble, like when playing a real bass guitar.

Bass guitar range was artifically extended up and down, so that higher notes and parts can be played as well.

Same as a piano module, bass module is very CPU lightweight. It will never stick notes, and never break the sound or click during live performances.

What do people say?

Users send me feedback and comments, regarding this and other 4Front modules (I encourage you to send your feedback when you get this bass to play).

People are satisfied with this bass sound, though sometimes I receive rare complaints about absence of pitch and vibrato control and a slight noise in output sound. I'm planning to implement additional features in advanced (commercial) versions of 4Front modules.

In overall, 4Front Bass module should be usable, as I use it in my own projects and if I would have serious complaints to myself, I would fix the module :)

Professional modules

TruePianos is an advanced version of virtual piano, and after several years of work and research, it was released.

Professional versions of other 4Front Instrument Modules are in development. They will be available commercially, will have generally cleaner sound and have more control (and bigger size, still reasonable though).

Though, we cannot promise boxed versions. It will be still available as electronic download. Due to a limited manpower and resources, we cannot satisfy the demand on packaging and sending boxed versions of software. (there will be no time for research and development then)

Though, I'd be happy to know, if someone wants to take care of this.
